By Rail: Hatfield & Welwyn Garden City (on the Great Northern Line) are the nearest stations to
Isabel Hospice. Taxis and buses are available from outside the station.

By Road: Heading North - From junction 23 on the M25, proceed north up to the A1(M) to Junction 4.
(A414) and follow signs to Hatfield House. Leave A414 at exit for Bush Hall Hotel and Welwyn Garden City (A1000). At traffic lights, turn LEFT and then 2nd RIGHT into Ascots Lane. Continue along Ascots Lane; turn right at the roundabout along Howlands past the QEII Hospital main entrance. Continue along Howlands;

1) turn 2nd RIGHT to In-patient Unit in the grounds of QEII Hospital

2) continue along Howlands and turn LEFT at the roundabout to Hall Grove for the Day Hospice.


By Road: Exit from A10 onto A414 and continue on A414 until the Hertford by-pass. Turn RIGHT to Welwyn Garden City onto Birchall Lane. Continue along the road and take 1st LEFT to Cole Green Lane, sign posted to QEII. From the round about turn LEFT onto Howlands. From the mini round-about turn RIGHT onto Hall Grove for the DAY HOSPICE.

For the IN-PATIENT HOSPICE continue along Howlands and take 3RD LEFT. Follow the Isabel Hospice sign.

One Way: There is now a one way system working on site. The Way In remains via Howlands, past MRI and Princes Wing and the Way Out is now past Eliz House and Queens Wing onto Ascot Lane.

Parking:

In-patient Unit: Limited parking facility for the patients and staff however QEII Hospital has Pay & Display car parking facilities

Day Hospice: Limited parking facility for the staff and patients, however there is ample parking on the road.
