We are still completely overwhelmed at the sheer determination by David Wyeth, who was running in aid of Isabel Hospice in the Virgin London Marathon on the 23rd April. He was helped to the finish line by Swansea Harriers runner, Matthew Rees after exhaustion took over and he collapsed.
The support Matt gave to David at the end of the 26.6 miles truly shows the spirit of the Virgin London Marathon, but also how physically demanding it is too.
We are so please to report that David is doing well (you may have seen him on TV!), and grabbed a beer and burger to refuel after his champion efforts!
We are sending a huge thank you again to David for his incredible strength, and to Matthew Rees for helping over the finish line.
