Lights of Love 2017

Thank you to everyone who attended our Lights of Love ceremonies this weekend in Hatfield, Ware and Sawbrigeworth.

In Sawbridgeworth, the Knight family attended to remember Richard Cofield, along with Richard's widow June who is pictured here with her great neice and nephew.

June said "The staff at the Hospice are quite simply angels, so wonderful, kind and patient, even whilst doing such a tough job, no matter the time of day they always made Richard laugh, and hearing that through the house when he was so poorly was heavenly.”

Laura Pigott, Community Fundraiser at the Hospice said “I’d like to thank Sawbridgeworth Town Council and all the dignitaries who attended, along with long standing volunteer Renee Friend. Thanks also to the volunteers at the Hailey Day Centre and the choir who make the occasion so musical!”

Next weekend there will be ceremonies in Buntingford on Friday at 6pm and Welwyn Garden City on Saturday at 4pm.
