Vision & Mission
Adults in eastern Hertfordshire with life-limiting illnesses receive the specialist palliative care that they need to achieve the best possible quality of life. The family and carers of those patients are supported as needed during the patient's illness and into bereavement.
To deliver a range of high quality, free, specialist palliative and supportive care services, which meet the physical, psychosocial and spiritual needs of patients, carers and family members including in bereavement.
To collaborate with other healthcare services in providing co-ordinated services at an appropriate time and place according to each individual’s needs.
To support and empower healthcare professionals through education and training.
To ensure that service provision is sustainable and continuously improved to match the evolving needs of the eastern Hertfordshire community.
