Data Administrator

Contract: Permanent Part Time - 25 hours per week - preferably Monday to Friday but some flexibility with days & actual hours of work
Salary: £15,000 to £22,000 Pro Rata and According to Experience
Location: Welwyn Garden City

We are currently looking for a Data Administrator to join our Fundraising team. This role supports the Data Manager to maximise the effectiveness of the Fundraising Department's Donorflex database.

 

The role will include:

Providing support to the Fundraising Team in regard to demographic and financial information and mail shot data

  • Accurately recording and acknowledging donations (average number of monthly donations in excess of 1,300) from various sources
  • Resolution of database queries
  • Assisting the Data Manager in the preparation of monthly management accounts for Fundraising (annual income from Fundraising in excess of £2m), including bank reconciliations & completion of reporting schedules
  • Retrieving output from Isabel Hospice website & other fundraising websites and manipulating data in Excel to enable input/import to database

The successful candidate should:

  • Be numerate and methodical with an eye for detail
  • Have experience with Microsoft Word & especially Microsoft Excel (intermediate level)
  • Be comfortable with a varied routine within a very busy team of staff and volunteers
  • Have the ability to communicate with a wide range of contacts, within and outside of the Hospice
  • Have experience of using Donorflex or a similar CRM database (preferred)
