£18,000 to £19,000 Per Annum Pro Rata - Actual Salary £7,200 to £7,600 per annum.

Our Clinical Governance Team have a vacancy for a Governance Assistant to assist with the implementation of quality improvement initiatives and in the management of the clinical governance agenda.
You will directly support staff with audits, from proposal, data collection to report writing and provide support to the Governance Lead with the presentation of clinical audit data. You will also provide support with the escalation and management of incidents and complaints ensuring that all related administrative tasks are complete, whilst also providing support in the area of Surveys, Compliments and Suggestions, monitoring CQUINs and Key Performance Indicators, producing reports from the IT system on clinical activity and staff compliance with clinical policies. You may on occasion be required to attend Herts Hospice Audit Group meetings as a representative of the hospice to discuss data and share ideas.
To apply you should have previous experience working with databases and analysing data and have good knowledge of software packages such as Microsoft word, outlook, powerpoint and excel. You will also need good written and verbal communication skills and report writing skills. You should have a good eye for detail and be able to prioritise your own workload. Previous experience within a healthcare environment and working in the area of complaints/incidents would be desirable.
