Clash of the Corporates

We are looking for 20 teams to take part in this entrepreneurial challenge. Each team will be loaned £50 and within a 3 month period you need to find interesting and innovative ways of increasing the £50 to make the most profit you can!

A launch evening will be held where you will receive your £50 and meet your opponents. After the 3 month challenge we will host an awards evening where you will be recognised for all your hard work.

There will be two prizes, the first for the team that makes the most profit and a prize for the most innovative idea.

How your money can help

Isabel Hospice is a registered charity that serves a population of 350,000 people. To be able to continue providing our free care, we need to raise £4.5 million a year, of which £3 million needs to come from charitable sources. Last year, we cared for 1,349 patients and 2,514 family members of which 174 were children.

Our patients are predominately cancer patients but we also care for patients with other life-limiting illnesses, such as end of stage renal failure, heart disease, end stage lung disease and motor neurone disease (MND) for whom palliative care is needed.

£26 would pay for one hour of specialist nursing at our In-Patient Unit where they feel cherished, safe and cared for.

£628 would pay for a day’s care in our In-Patient Unit

£854 would pay for the daily cost of our Family Support Service.

£3,000 would pay the running costs of our Isabel Nurse Specialists for a day, so they could visit patients in their home, providing specialist knowledge, comfort and expert advice.
