The event ‘Hospice 100’ took place at Freman’s College in Buntingford and over 80 supporters entered into the 21 mile, 42 mile, 75 mile and 100 mile ride to raise vital funds. We would like to thank Jeremy and Luke from Sportive UK for organising their first ever bike ride event in aid of the Hospice last Sunday.
We would like to thank every cyclist for joining us - it was great to see so many friendly faces using their pedal power to help the charity. We hope everyone had a fun ride on the scenic routes!
Jeremy and Luke would also like to thank all of the volunteers who helped on the day, including the Hospice helpers based at the food stops who gave out cake and other sweet treats to the cyclists. We would also like to thank Fremans College for letting us host the event at the school, the Mayor of Buntingford John Noades, and Jeff Jones the chairman of East Hertfordshire Council for attending and opening the event. A huge thanks also goes to Mandy Davies for taking the wonderful photographs out on the route. You can view the photo gallery below.
