Help us protect our patients, staff and volunteers
Updated: 23rd March 2020
The symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19) may be more severe in people with weakened immune systems, older people, and those with long-term and life-limiting illnesses.
The UK Government is closely monitoring the spread of the coronavirus and is taking action at home and abroad.
We are asking staff, visitors and volunteers to self-isolate for 7 days if they develop a new persistent cough, fever or flu like symptoms. This is in line with Public Health England's advice.
We would like to reassure staff, volunteers, patients, families, friends and supporters that we are constantly updating our business continuity plans to ensure that the Hospice remains open.
We will continue to monitor the situation and follow the latest published advice.

Do you have any of these symptoms?
If yes, please don't visit, stay indoors and phone NHS 24 (111) for advice or access the web based helpline.
As the situation develops, we ask that our visitors please visit gov.uk/coronavirus where you will find information on how to self isolate and play your part in protecting the community.
We are asking that visitors to Isabel Hospice premises follow the instructions on the signs and use hand gel accordingly.
Thank you for your co-operation and understanding.
