Please join us at our Celebration of Life In-Memory event 2024

The staff and volunteers at Isabel Hospice are delighted to invite you, your family and friends to our special Celebration of Life In-Memory event.

This family friendly afternoon is a chance to remember and celebrate the wonderful times we shared with those who are no longer with us.

Programme

3.00pm – Gardens open. Refreshments, delicious cakes and cream teas available to purchase. Picnics welcome. Please bring a chair. No alcohol.

4.00 – 5.40pm – A warm welcome from Isabel Hospice. Staged musical performances from renowned Countertenor, James Laing and the uplifting Ware U3A Choir. Time to reflect and invitation to place an In-Memory, seeded forget-me-not, on Isabel’s memorial wall.

(All In-Memory forget-me-nots will be planted in the gardens of our living well centre to be enjoyed by our out-patients and supporters – isabelhospice.org.uk/living-well-with-isabel)

To attend registration is required by the 17th May, together with a suggested donation. Suggested donation amounts are £15.00 per adult and £5.00 per child (under 18).

Performers

James Laing – Countertenor: James was a choral scholar at Trinity College, Cambridge, furthering his studies at the Royal College of Music. He was selected by OPERA NOW as amongst ‘Who’s Hot’ at the London Handel Festival. His broadcast work includes Sports Personality of the Year for BBC TV, In Tune for Radio 3 and Midweek for Radio 4.

U3A Choir Ware: This joyful, local choir, some 30-40 members strong, performs a variety of modern and traditional songs, uplifting and entertaining their audiences wherever they go.
