Isabel Hospice was founded in 1982 and since then has been committed to delivering outstanding palliative care across Eastern Hertfordshire either in the patient’s home, our In-Patient Unit, or for wellbeing and rehabilitation at our Living Well Hubs.
The hospice relies upon financial support from individuals, companies and grant-giving organisations to care for those in the community who need us and our ambition is to continue to grow fundraising income so that we can provide outstanding palliative care for all.
Individual Giving is a vital part of our fundraising strategy, generating 50% of all fundraising income during the last financial year.
We are looking for an experienced Individual Giving Manager to continue to grow income from individuals in line with Isabel Hospice’s strategic plan who will lead on maximising income and loyalty from our individual supporter base through in memory giving, regular giving, cash appeals, lottery and legacies.
You will have four year’s individuals or direct marketing experience or equivalent fundraising or communications experience, be organised and have excellent campaign management experience. The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, have significant experience of end to end planning of integrated in memory or other direct marketing campaigns and have experience of negotiating with colleagues and external contacts.
