Team Leader - Family Support

Contract: Permanent - Full Time
Salary: £38,000 to £40,000 per annum
Location: Welwyn Garden City, Herts
Closing Date: 10 Nov, 2017

The main focus of this role will be to provide strong visionary leadership and management to the Family Support Team to ensure that staff are supported in the delivery of consistent and high standards of care.  You will also provide emotional and psycho-social support to patients and their families through the process of death, dying and loss.

To apply, you will need to be experienced and skilled in managing others, and have experience in mentorship and coaching.  You will need to be qualified to degree/diploma level in counselling or psychotherapy and accredited with a professional body (UKCP or BACP).  You should also have experience of working with people in a hospice or palliative care setting and with bereaved clients.

Some bank holiday working will be required on a rota basis and you will need to be a car owner/driver.
