COVID-19 information

In order to protect our patients and our staff, visitors to the IPU are being further limited.  Patients in single rooms are able to have only one visitor at any time.  We ask that visitors cooperate with staff and follow handwashing guidelines. If the staff ask you to wear a mask, please comply.
Unfortunately, no public areas are open to visitors at this time, including toilets.  You may, however, use the patient’s own bathroom which will be cleaned after use.

If you are planning to visit the IPU - please stay at home if you have coronavirus symptoms

Please do not enter the building if you, someone you live with or have close contact with has the following symptoms:

·       a high temperature – you feel hot to touch on your chest or back

·       a new, continuous cough – this means you've started coughing repeatedly

This is to ensure we keep our patients, you, your family and our staff safe.

This guidance may change at short notice and we will keep you informed of any changes as they arise

As always, please speak to staff if you have concerns but please help us keep our patients and staff safe.
Thank you for your cooperation.
