We are very fortunate at Isabel Hospice to have many motivated and hardworking Fundraising Groups working tirelessly within their communities to raise money. However we are always looking for more help across our local area.
Have you thought about becoming a regular fundraiser, with a group of friends or family? You have the potential to become a fundraising group. What does a Fundraising group do? A group of friends will hold 2, 3, or more fundraising events within their local community, each year.
They will meet for regular catch-ups and plan events throughout the year, to help raise awareness and funds. Not only will this help the hospice enormously, but it’s a chance to be social, meet new people and have a lot of fun and laughter along the way.
Just some of the things you could be involved in include Quiz Nights, Musical Evenings, Dances, Open Gardens, Art Exhibitions and many more!
Renee Friend said “I work together with my wonderful friends to organise a huge variety of fundraising events in our local community every year, it is a real team effort. Our group work includes fashion shows and sales, garden parties, carnival, street and store collections, lunch parties, raffles, fairs, concerts, shows, Santa's grotto, annual Bike ride and a monthly coffee morning and so much more”.
Our dedicated Community Fundraising Team are always around to help so please do get in touch by email or call 01707 382500, we would love to hear from you. Download your Support group toolkit here.
