Design a poster about shopping preloved, pick up a free book, and be in to win a gift voucher!
Event Date: 1 August 2024 9:00 am - 31 August 2024 5:00 pm
Location: Eastern Hertfordshire
To keep children entertained and inspire creativity during the summer holidays, we are hosting an exciting art competition. We are inviting children across east Herts to design a poster that promotes the benefits of buying second-hand. Whether it’s highlighting the importance of reducing landfill waste, saving money, finding unique items, or supporting a good cause, the competition encourages children to think creatively and share the important message.
Children are encouraged to submit their posters to their local Isabel Hospice shop by Saturday 31st August. Each entry should include the child’s name, age, and a contact email address on the back. The best poster per shop, judged by shop managers, will win a gift voucher to spend in store. As an added bonus, every child who submits a poster will receive a free preloved children’s book as a token of appreciation.
Isabel Hospice plans to display many of the entrants’ posters in shop windows during Sustainable September, spreading the preloved message even further.
