Amelia Friedenthal Supports Isabel Hospice - Isabel Hospice

Amelia Friedenthal, a pupil in Year 10 at Bedford Girls School has spent the last few months working on a presentation about her chosen Charity – Isabel Hospice. Amelia is the granddaughter of Sue Coleman, member of the Special Events Committee.

20 Groups gave presentations and six groups were chosen for the final presentations which was held on Tuesday, 27th January at

Bedford Girls School. Each of the six groups had four to six members making the presentation, but due to sickness of other group members, Amelia presented her charity alone in full view of a hall full of guests.

In front of a panel of judges who would assess each presentation, the winning group would receive a cheque for £1,000.00 for their charity and the runner up £250.00.

The winning group won after supporting a local MS Charity and Amelia was the runner up winning £250 to support the work of Isabel Hospice.

Amelia’s presentation was clear and very detailed including a beautifully produce visual presentation. She gave details of the work of Isabel Hospice including the care for patients and families and the range of services provided. She also spoke about the costs of running the charity and the need for more funding.

Huge congratulations to Amelia for supporting Isabel Hospice and for this very special donation.
