Eighteen teams of golfers gathered at Brickendon Grange Golf Club on Thursday 19th June for a day of glorious golf on one of the hottest days of the summer.
The Golf Course set in 160 acres of Hertfordshire countryside proved to be the perfect venue for this fundraiser organised by the Special Events Committee.
The winning team was from Fourways Plant Ltd, who all received a box of six Crystal Champagne Flutes kindly donated by Stephen Godshaw, Jewellers of Welwyn Garden City.
The hugely successful day raised £9,714.00 towards the work of Isabel Hospice, due to the generosity of the golfers and the extra guests who joined the day for a superb lunch in the clubhouse.
Barbara Doherty President and Chairman of the Special Events Committee, thanked her committee and all the golfers who attended the day for their support and fundraising efforts. She also thanked Brickendon Grange for their hospitality for another successful event and Stuart Storey MBE for his skillful work as MC and Auctioneer.
Another Golf Day at Brickendon will be held in the early summer of 2026.
