More than £18,000 was raised for Isabel Hospice when the charity hosted a glittering Snow Ball.
Some 165 guests attended the glamorous black tie event in the beautiful winter-themed Meadow Barn at Tewinbury Farm, near Welwyn,
The evening’s entertainment included live music by popular party band, The Bears, who played an eclectic mix of dance floor fillers from across the decades, as well as a comedian and casino, with many enjoying a flutter and keeping the black jack and roulette tables busy all night.
There was also a silent auction and grand raffle with a selection of fabulous prizes to be won.
Guests also enjoyed a sumptuous meal of confit chicken leg terrine, feather blade of beef, iced lemon meringue parfait and a warm chocolate fondant dessert with ice cream.
One party goer said: “It was just fabulous to finally be at a black tie event after what seems like years! The band were amazing and the food was fantastic. Well done Isabel Hospice for creating such an amazing evening of non-stop entertainment.”
