Promoting the lottery in our community
Like many charities across Hertfordshire and the UK, we use a professional fundraising agency, Burden and Burden to help us to recruit new Lottery members across the county. We also employ an independent fundraiser, Christine Eaves.
This means our trained fundraisers could be knocking on doors in your neighbourhood, or talking to people at your local shopping centre about the vital work Isabel Hospice are doing. As well as being a cost-effective and efficient way of sourcing regular steady income, our face to face fundraisers spread the word about Isabel’s care and support services and make sure people know how to reach us if they need our support.
Our fundraisers wear Isabel Hospice t-shirts and ID badges (with coats in the winter). To find out where our fundraisers are working this week or to confirm the identity of one of our team, please contact Lisa Archer, Lottery Manager by email or call 01707 382594 (Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm).
The Isabel Hospice Weekly Lottery is licensed with the Gambling Commission - Account Number 4694.
We are committed to using our Lottery to fundraise responsibly and offers access to support if needed from the Gambling Commission or Gamecare.
