ABOUT THE COURSE
A one day course looking at specialist pain control in palliative care. Attendees will gain an update on pain management and also be introduced to the management of complex pain in palliative care.
WHAT WILL I LEARN?
• The concept of total pain (case study)
• Causes and theory of pain management
• Non-pharmacological pain management techniques
• Management of the sharp edge of neuropathic pain
• Complex pain, adjuvants and addendums
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
This course is designed for all trained professionals who require an update in pain management in palliative care.
