ABOUT THE COURSE
A one-day course for students to explore inter-professional collaboration in providing high quality specialist palliative care. This course will be led by Isabel Hospice Education Team with input from all other clinical areas.
WHAT WILL I LEARN?
• What is palliative and end of life care?
• Understanding hospice services
• Exploring patient journeys through palliative and end of life care
• Tools used in palliative care to enable patients to live and die well
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
All health and social care pre-qualification students of nursing, medicine, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, social work, paramedics, art therapies and health related studies.
