ABOUT THE COURSE
This course compromises of one day followed by a half-day session the following week. The course is aimed at health and social care staff who are involved in formal or informal teaching who wish to improve their presentation skills. During the course you will be asked to present a short teaching session and receive group and individual feedback. Please note that both dates must be attended.
Day 1 – 13th January, 09.30 – 16.30
Day 2 – 20th January, 09.30 – 13.00

- Explore the challenges of public speaking and consider learning theories
- Understand the experience of the student
- Lesson planning
- Experiential learning and evaluation
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
All health and social care professionals who are involved in teaching and have an interest in expanding their knowledge in this area.
