Katy O’Sullivan, Isabel’s Head of Fundraising, said: “We’re here to help make your Christmas clear-up as hassle-free as possible, leaving you to focus on the festive fun. So, when you’ve finished decking the halls and it’s time to pack away the tinsel and baubles for another year, we will pick up your tree from your door and recycle it in an environmentally friendly way.”

Last year we collected 1200 trees and raised a massive £17,000.  Please help us beat this total and support our Care at Christmas campaign raising funds that contributed to services such as our In-Patient Unit, Clinical Nurse and Paramedics Specialist consultations and Hospice at Home and Counselling with Family Support.

Katy added: “This is the fourth year we have organised our tree-cycling service, and it continues to grow in popularity each year. We expect to be even busier this year, so we are encouraging people to book their collection slot online as early as possible to avoid disappointment.”

We are also in need of extra helpers to post leaflets through letterboxes and distribute posters in their community to raise awareness of the tree-cycling campaign, as well as help collect the trees in January and drop them to our disposal sites.

Katy said: “Our incredible volunteers offered their help last year by both leafleting houses and helping us to collect trees in an awe-inspiring display of community spirit. We’re hoping our supporters will work their magic for us by volunteering to lend a hand again this time round so if you can help, even for just a couple of hours, please do get in touch as we would love to hear from you.”
