ABOUT THE COURSE
A one-day course to support professional development and requirements for non-medical prescriber updates. This course will be led by Jackie Watts, Education Specialist and supported by Lea van der Niet, Lead Nurse for Hospice at Home, Isabel Hospice.
WHAT WILL I LEARN?
- Seizures in palliative care
- Managing night-time agitation/delirium including dementia
- Use of steroids in palliative care including bone pain
- Pan Herts Chart v5
- Managing bowel obstruction in the community including nausea and vomiting
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
Non-medical prescribers or senior nurses with an interest in Medicines Management.
