Isabel care in the community - Isabel Hospice

Did you know there are no Macmillan community nurses in our area? We do the role that Macmillan do in other parts of the country.

When you need help and support after a terminal diagnosis, Isabel Hospice community Clinical Nurse Specialists are there to walk alongside you. They are there to support families having heard the worst news – the news that there is no cure for their heart failure, dementia, cancer, MND or COPD. Every nurse salary is paid for by donations made by people like you.

They are specially trained and have a wealth of experience supporting, advising, and caring for people in their own homes, and at Isabel clinics across eastern Hertfordshire. Isabel Hospice rely heavily on donations in support of our nursing staff and every penny given, helps pay for our nurses and doctors to support more local people facing terrible news of a terminal illness. Supporting them to live well, in their communities with their families, for often many months.

In other parts of the country, Macmillan nurses do this role, but in your communities, Isabel Hospice nurses, with their wealth of experience, their kindness and their specialist knowledge mean you are not alone. Isabel Hospice is walking alongside you when you are told the worst news anyone can hear.
